From the Bride, Sofia: I’ve always wanted a colorful wedding! I think colors have a great impact on people’s mood, so I wanted the colors of the wedding to emanate joy and give people the sense that they can have fun and be natural. I certainly didn’t want my decorations to feel artificial or too luxurious and uncomfortable. That’s why I also chose that all my flower arrangements should include a variety of different flower types and that they should have different lengths, sizes, and shapes. This was very important to me, because I wanted to feel like I’m in a beautiful natural space especially since the venue was overlooking the sea. I chose to have a lot of candles at the venue and some warm lights at the dance floor to create the romantic, natural, and comfortable mood. I didn’t want the artificial multi-color lights at the dance floor.
Choosing the photographers was one of the most important decisions I made for the wedding. I looked for photographers that would capture real feelings and moments rather than artificial poses. I looked for photographers that were trained and good at photojournalism. There are many photographers out there that can tell you how to pose and just take pictures and over-edit the photos. But, there are few photographers that can truly capture the moment and your feelings in an artistic frame. Every time I look at my wedding photos I feel how I felt in those moments. That is priceless, and for that I’m forever grateful for my amazing photographers, Wed Pashalis Photography.
Yup. We’re more than a little obsessed. Aren’t you? Plenty more Greece microwedding location ideas where this comes from!
