Knowing Kate would not be excited about a public engagement, Chris planned a thoughtful proposal at their home. He decorated the space with flowers and sweet items sentimental to their relationship. Fittingly, the couple also dreamed of a small and intimate wedding day to enjoy their time with those who truly matter most. Set in the “Pastures of Heaven,” Chris and Kate planned a laid-back trip to the west coast. They shared in activities and free time with their guests, and yes, their wedding feels simply heavenly.

This organic vineyard and olive orchard wedding fuses a minimalistic approach with a layer of extravagance. Keeping their guest count small, Chris and Kate were able to enjoy every piece of their day with their closest family, who were all able to stay on-site for the duration of the trip.

Both Chris and Kate lost a parent within a couple of years of each other, so they incorporated a lot of details to honor her late father and his mother.
