The bridal mini has taken pride of place on our Insta feeds lately – and for good reason! These short wedding dresses are flirty, fun and ultra chic. What may have been considered too modern to be romantic in years past, the knee-length wedding dresses of today have achieved the perfect juxtaposition of expert construction and devil-may-care attitude that just makes them work! We are beyond delighted to share a brief peek into the bridal mini dresses we’ve been saving for a rainy day, and it’s our greatest hope that they inspire you to take the plunge in your own bridal fashion directive – whether it’s an after party number or the main event! Without further ado, let’s cha cha cha real slow now….

Ugh. We love bridal mini dresses on their own… obviously … but when paired with an oversized bow ? It makes the ultimate statement. And you could say we’re borderline obsessive about this coquettish femme combo.

Much like Tina Turner predicted, bridal mini dresses are simply the best. At least we assume that’s what she’s referring to in her song considering her own iconic style. If we’ve learned anything from this *ahem* research, it’s that short wedding dresses don’t take much to make a big impact. 1) Focus on a strong silhouette, whether it involves puff sleeves + boatloads of tulle, a chic bridal skirt suit or a silky slip harking back to the 80’s era we all know and love. 2) Accessorize well, adding a cool veil to spice up the look or an intricate appliqué design on the bodice… hey, maybe even grab a beige hat or heart-shaped sunglasses to solidify the mood! 3) When in doubt…. add a statement bow somewhere! There you have it, the perfect ingredients for a bridal mini dress that will take the world by storm.
