A Bright & Romantic Kauai Wedding with Pops of Citrus
We’re gonna need a minute because this gorgeous wedding in Kauai just made our hearts leap with the prettiest pop of citrus. With no creative stone unturned, Manna Sun Events planned a breathtaking Hawaiian wedding with mismatched bamboo lanterns, delicate ivory leis, and a stunning view of the Pacific ocean. Studio Opia beautifully captured the affair and we’ve already pinned every. single. photo. to our Pinterest boards. You can see why!
From the planner, Manna with Manna Sun Events: Jana and Feng chose to elope to Kauai for their wedding not only because of Kauai’s jaw-dropping mountains and stunning beaches, but also because that Kauai is located in the Central Pacific – it is a perfect meeting point for both their friends and colleagues from the east coast, and the family from China.
For their big day, Jana and Feng envisioned a full Hawaiian experience embellished with countless elegant and romantic touches. From the ceremony to the reception, from the sign in area to the cake table, each area was sophisticatedly combined with both tropical and elegant elements. Although the invitation had already given the guests a preview of the ceremony with a general look drawn in watercolor, the guests were stunned by the beauty of the site: a floral path extended to the semi-circle floral arrangement sitting on the bluff, in wild and natural style. It was not just facing the Pacific, it was embraced by the Pacific.
On each bamboo chair, a white Hawaii lei was placed. Walking down the aisle, Jana was breathtaking in her dreamy Monique gown. On her back, Jana wore six strand white crown flower leis made by the fantastic Mandy Grace Designs and an elegant floral headpiece. Jana carried a delicate, mostly ivory and blush bouquet in free and wild style. After Jana and Feng exchanged their vows, they released environmental protection balloons that carried their abiding love and happy wishes. These balloons would continue spread the good news and blessings to every corner of the world.
When the guests arrived at the sign-in area after the ceremony, they found coconuts with their names and table numbers on them, and an ivory welcoming parasol with the couple’s name and wedding date. These coconuts placed on the shelf with lemons as big as oranges, were hand-picked from the coconut farm right on the island. Next to the coconut shelf was a cobber stand with dried fruit slices on strings. All the memorable events of Jana and Feng’s relationship were printed out and placed on the strings.
The reception was held under the tent facing the marvelous mountains. Under the tent, Bamboo lanterns in various styles were hung with white leis. A beautiful white floral runner draped from one side of the sweetheart table. Behind the table were carefully decorated peacock club chairs. On each table low centerpieces were placed in ceramic vases, and nest between centerpieces, were varies tropical fruits, including oranges used as menu holders. Acrylic box filled with flowers were used as table numbers. Banana leaf stool and peacock chair were used as cake stand and dessert display. When the candle were lit, Hawaiian musicians and dancers join this celebration of love and the tent was filled with laughter and happiness.
I mean seriously, what’s not to love with this breathtaking Kauai wedding with pops of citrus? If you’re digging’ the citrus accents as much as we are then you’re going to love this wedding design filled with summer hues.
