Pacific Northwest Wedding with Country Touches

As far as beautiful handmade touches are concerned, this wedding from Nakalan McKay Photography and Botanica Floral Design has got it going on. From the antique doors at the beginning of the ceremony aisle to the hanging window backdrop at the altar, every bit was made with love and shines with a sweet simplicity that’s always elegant.

From the bride, Becca: I wanted our wedding day to be focused on the life commitment we were making. I wanted the day to be personal, to show all of our guests how much we love each other and how we take our commitment seriously. The overall feel of the day I wanted to be whimsical and beautiful; a place guests felt welcomed and comfortable to have a great time.

I absolutely loved everything about our day. From decorations to the flowers to our vows, it was perfect. My favorite pieces of our wedding were the altar and entrance doors built by my talented brother-in-law. The altar was exactly what I envisioned and it added the perfect backdrop for the most important day of our lives. Mason and I had a blast and we have so much fun reliving that very special day.
