Creative Nashville Wedding with Art Installations

The bride’s BHLDN gown, the organic centerpieces, the incredible art installations for the ceremony and the reception — these are just a few of our favorite things from Ashlee and Brent’s wedding in Nashville, TN. Eden Frangipane and Modern Vintage Events were the all-stars responsible for bringing together all the finishing touches, and to say they knocked it out of the park might just be the understatement of the year.

From the event designer, Modern Vintage Events: Ashlee and Brent are true creatives. She is a chef at Silly Goose, a farm-to-table restaurant and he is a design mastermind for Fort Houston, a creative gym in Nashville. Their wedding was full of creative touches, art installations and fun. Ashlee paid attention to each and every detail, from the food catered by her restaurant to the pressed menu flowers, gold leafed miniature horses, organic floral centerpieces and beautiful art installations for the ceremony and reception.

They got married at a working farm in Nashville and had amazing farm-to-table food, an assortment of pies and crafted cocktails. Everyone enjoyed lawn games including archery complete with headdresses. Everything from Ashlee’s dress to the hanging chandeliers felt very artsy and very Anthropologie. Ashlee pulled up to the ceremony in a 1961 Cadillac DeVille. The flowers were flowy and vibrant and popped perfectly against her vintage-inspired dress. Brent’s blue suit complimented everything perfectly.

Their ceremony may have been one of my favorites. One of her friends put together the flower installations and she brought rugs from her parent’s home to put under the architecture on the farm. They had musicians and their music included anything from “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys to “If I Needed You” by Townes Van Zandt. Both their mothers did readings during the ceremony.
