Pastoral Tuscan Villa Wedding with Farm Fresh Details

There are some weddings that truly take your breath away, and Martina + Davide’s pastoral Tuscan villa wedding was totally one of them. Their day was a mix of glamor and comfort, with an awe-inspiring ceremony in an Italian cathedral and an al fresco family style reception. Geometric tables with string lights sat against a waning sun, and we could not imagine a sweeter theme than their farm fresh “Taste the Love” inspired decor. From the stylist, Le Jour du Oui: Martina and Davide chose a rustic and charming place for their wedding in the Tuscan hills. Both Italian, born in Naples and living in Milan, they have an incredible taste for simple but beautiful things. Addicted to details and food lovers of high standard cuisine, they focus the theme of their wedding on the raw materials of the best dishes: the menu was studied in detail, and the stationery was the protagonist to explain this process to all the guests. The graphic designer, Mondo Mombo, created a unique pattern of vegetables, reproduced in all the elements like photo wall, menu, place cards, mini receipt guide and so on and of course in seating plan and in the table setting: a mix of vegetables, fruits and fresh eggs with elegant wildflowers, aromatic hanging plants. The mise en place was chic but not exaggerating: vintage rose goblets mixed with gold band transparent ones, decorated ivory plates and rose gold cutlery.
