Modern Romantic Wedding in Provence
Obviously I’m not going to pass up the the chance to add a little more Provence in my life, right? These images from Greg Finck‘s workshop, styled by Branco Prata and with floral design by Laetitia C. Fleurs d’Atelier, have positively taken our breath away, as Greg’s images always do. Branco Prato’s inspiration stemmed from the play of dark against light and still life imagery, all of which is explored beautifully here.
From the event designer, Sofia Ferreira of Branco Prata: The world is fast becoming a small village and these days everything and everyone seems to be connected! You can go from one place to the other in minutes, you can experience new things every single day. We live in an era where everything is possible and all the things that exist around us, can in fact inspire us! Light Workshop was just that, a gathering of people from all over the world, with different visions, cultures and expectations, so for me it was important to create something different, something that touch them in more ways than one.
I started to dream about the shoot the minute I woke up at 4 am thinking about the amber stone! When designing for a shoot, it’s normal to be overwhelmed with ideas and different concepts, but for me this time around it was quite clear: a modern couple in a decadent, dark and old setting, inspired by still life paintings! We always look for the bright side of things, even in photography we are always chasing the perfect light… for this shoot I wanted to turn things around and explore the dark side of things, after all the famous quote from Pythagoras “If there be light, then there is darkness.” was the best way to end the Light Workshop experience!
A bit about the Greg Finck Workshop: We are proud to announce the launch of the second edition of the Greg Finck Workshops!
