Bougainvillea Inspired Wedding Ideas
One of the first things that hit me when I took a gander at these beautiful photos by Savan Photography was the fact that the stone element in this shoot was its own “color”. Against the bright white of the dress and the radiant fuchsia of the bougainvillea, the stone facade at The Mission in San Juan Capistrano adds such a stunning rustic element to this whole shoot. Bravo to Just a Kiss Weddings and The Blooming Bud for their styling and floral expertise and the lovely simplicity of this wedding inspiration. Makes you want to get whisked away to some exotic old-world country and fall in love all over again.
From the photographer, Savan Photography: The bougainvillea are in full bloom and everywhere you turn there are color pops of hot pink, light pink, purple, gold and of course fuchsia. It was this flower that inspired our Spanish theme and I knew where the perfect backdrop would be: The Mission in San Juan Capistrano. With our Spanish/Italian model, we ran with the idea of glamorous, yet romantic wedding inspiration.
We achieved this wedding inspiration by paying attention to all the details. From the logo which used Spanish tile design, a simple sweetheart table dressed with classic ceramic plates in neutral tones, a classic cake that was adored with just an initial and Spanish clay vases all tied us back to the ruins of a Mission that was over 250 years old. Her hair and makeup was classically Spanish with her dark hair curled and swept to one side and paired with the red Spanish lips. Lastly, we come back full circle with the bougainvilla bouquet and centerpiece which we forge effortlessly in the backyard for that statement pop of color.
