Heavenly Wedding Inspiration with a Floral Swing
Gauzy and dreamy, this Avec L’Amour Photography and Delighted Images shoot is the bee’s knees. Thuy from Avec L’Amour Photography orchestrated the fine details of the shoot and went for a romantic, carefree, and innocent setup, with the sweetest floral swing we’ve seen. Pineapple Petals Studio added to the mix by having heaps and heaps of the prettiest pink fleurs: bougainvillea, roses, tulips, and peonies, to name a few. We can never resist falling for an ultra-feminine shoot like this one!
From the photographer and event designer, Avec L’Amour Photography: California has a natural, golden beauty that is, in one aspect, so harsh, yet also so mesmerizing. The Bay Area is surrounded by golden hills that are often untouched, but only an arms length away. We, a group of Bay Area creative wedding professionals, decided to take a mid-season respite and refill our creative cup with a dream shoot that features some new and different things with which to inspire our clients. This shoot was photographed on both film for its dreamy qualities and digital for expediency. We combined the mediums in this gallery to show brides the seamless blending of hybrid photography, which allows for both cost effective services and true film range.
Before iPads and Pokemon GO, tree swings and warm afternoon breezes were one of the best memories of childhood summers. The quintessential symbol of carefree and happy, we incorporated a handmade rope swing with gorgeous vining bougainvillea and passion flower as a focal point for our model. To round out the look, we added vintage lanterns styled with tree of heaven clusters and more bougainvillea. Finding a hill with a lone, sturdy oak tree to provide an arm and canopy was the finishing touch that made it all feel romantic and heavenly!
The model’s pink champagne two piece dress is perfectly elegant yet playful with the beaded, French vintage inspired cropped camisole and a skirt made of layers upon layers of soft, lightweight tulle. Her light coverage, natural makeup look and loosely arrange low up-do accented with gorgeous handmade hair pieces gives her an organic, effortless look of beauty. Two bouquets were made to compliment this bride’s look — a sweet, but understated romantic arrangement and a more vibrant and textured bouquet. Both looks use the same color family, but feature different levels of vibrancy. Similarly, the menu and invitations showcase a watercolor floral scheme with gold flecked hand lettering to update traditional wedding paper design.
The tablescape is the real life embodiment of our vision of a perfect romantic dinner al fresco. Vintage French bistro chairs were given romantic flare when adorned with olive leaves and budding olives, while delicate, paper thin fuchsia bougainvillea added a feminine touch. The overflowing centerpiece of loosely arranged varieties of roses, tulips, tree of heaven, raspberries, and sweet peas made the rosé wine and lavender buds that much sweeter to sip! Because every dinner should end on a sweet note, the simple, two layered cake decorated with the most organic spray of jasmine vines and a single dusky pink lisianthus could not be more enticing!
These photos really are heavenly. Love them all, love the pretty pinks and corals in the flowers and love the pink dress. So pretty! The photographer did an amazing job.
SO SO SO dreamy!! Gorgeous photography to capture all the beauty!
