This Is What Happens When A Graphic Designer Has A Spanish Villa Wedding With Bright Pops of Color
Today’s multicultural wedding blending Swedish and Indian traditions in a Spanish Villa by the sea celebrates all things bold. The audacious nature of a marriage union in its own right, vibrant colors of mustard, indigo and dusty pink, bamboo furnishings and tropical blooms… we couldn’t adore Ebba and Raman’s day more! As a graphic designer herself, it only made sense that the stationery (and even the gown!) were designed by the Bride herself. E+R chose destination photographer Volvoreta to capture their Barcelona fete, and I’m telling you…. every image is frame worthy! The Experialist was the planner + designer behind the celebration as a whole, and you won’t be hard pressed to find creative decor from the seaside ceremony with a kaleidescopic crescent of blooms by Flowercap to the reception with bamboo chairs + woven pendant lights suspended over the dining tables. Read on to see why we love this Spanish villa wedding by the sea oh so much!
From the Photographer, Volvoreta: “I’m excited to share the wedding of Ebba Carlbaum and Raman Sidhu with you. They were married in Vilanova i la Geltrú (near Sitges and Barcelona), last July 2019 in an incredible venue in front of the sea and their day was colourful, multicultural and, although it finished with an unexpected pouring rain, they enjoyed every moment as ever. This wedding, although simple, it was really special and personalised because the bride is a graphic designer and she designed the stationery and her dress by herself. What made it so different was the use of mustard, indigo blue and dusty pink, which could seem unusual and not easy to match but we found the way to make it work. Also the great venue from 1913 with amazing sea views and very near from Barcelona and Sitges made of this weekend wedding a great experience for their guests.“
